Let's Party......

Hello............

Well yesterday was my dad's Birthday.
I wanted to make him a fun Birthday card 

using my FAVE stamp set 

Party Animal by Lawn Fawn!!!

I still have not bought the dies to make

this a little easier cutting out....someday. Lol

I did some water coloring on the background

using my distress inks on Tim Holtz water 

color paper.  I had just received my Simon

Says Stamp April card kit and it came with the 

black embossing powder that I used on my 

sentiment. Looks pretty cool in person.

I bought that Memory Box cloud die a few months

ago and I don't think I have ever used it.

I thought it made a Great area to put

the sentiment on.

Birthday Boy

I think he looks really GREAT for 

turning 69 years old!! The picture

was taken 2 days before his Birthday. 

And that's my oldest daughter, Chelsy.

kit, My Kind of Peeps.  I also used my MFT sentiment

stamp from the set One of My Favorite Peeps on this

card.

I told you March was a busy Birthday month for me!

This week my niece turns 18!!!! Whoot Whoot!!!

I still have not finished my Easter cards because

I am still making Birthday cards. I still have 2

more Birthdays I need to make cards for this month!

I think I need to make one of the vacant offices at

work into my 2nd craft room to work in on my down 

time at work. LOL So for this card I went with one

of MFT Blueprints dies #26!  I also used my 

Stampin Up Large Numbers Framelits dies.

I LOVE it and hope she does too!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Brooke.....

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!!

Well I just celebrated a milestone with

my youngest daughter yesterday!!! Brooke

turned 10 years old!!!!  She had a really 

Great 10th Birthday!!! This year the theme

of her party was Paris.  I don't know why but 

she came up with it all on her own.  At that

point it seemed like there really was a lot of 

Paris theme stuff out!!! I came across this new

to me digital stamp company JuliaSpiri while

surfing Facebook one morning and came across this

digital stamp called Promenade in Paris. It is 

really Perfect as my daughter has had this infatuation

with Afghan Hounds and Paris!! I think for her

5th birthday we found some random picture of an 

Afghan Hound and had a picture birthday cake make

with it!!  She Loved it!!!  Well I am very pleased 

at how this card came out.  It's not my usual style 

and I finally got to play more with the frontage 

that I had bought several months ago.

My daughter LOVES it and that's all that matters!!!

Brooke's dad made her this Awesome looking

cake.  He is quite the Jack of all Trades from 

floor tiling, plumbing, and baking!!!

Hello my Crafty Friends!!!!

So I have finally gotten around to 

making some Easter cards.  Pretty 

rough having 2 holidays in one month

plus I have several Birthday's to create for

in between.  One being my youngest daughter,

Brooke, turning 10 this Sunday!!! Yikes!!

So you will be surprised I used NO animal to

create this cute Easter card.  I LOVE this 

Pure Innocence girl and those marshmallow

peeps are Everywhere right now!! For my 

layout I used this weeks Sketch Saturday challenge.

I don't have a sun die but I think the 

Spellbinders smallest of the large inverted

scallop circle dies makes a great sun!!!

Hi my Crafty Friends!!!

Recently my father-in-law celebrated 

his 83rd birthday.  I had originally planned

to make this card a shaker card but I 

forgot to put the acetate down first before

I put all the foam mount all along the frame

part of this card.  I didn't want to peel off 

and waste all that foam mount so I just

made it a framed up card.  I think it came out

nice and the colors I used made it a masculine

looking card.  I am just loving these large

number framelit dies by Stampin' Up.
